Derbyshire County Council gave funding for the first time in 2021 with a Ward Grant from Derbyshire County Council through Cllr. Christine Dale for support to a major community arts festival.

Cllr. Dale has committed to further funding for 2022 to continue support to enable the event to take place in Shirebrook.
